Babies! They smell so good. Kind of like a fresh Spring rain with a mix of Johnson & Johnson liquid baby soap. They don’t crawl or run away from you or talk back. They love to be held and fed and changed and held and fed and held and they love to sleep during all of it! I wish I were a baby sometimes!
Before leaving for Seattle and the Antiworkshop (of which you will hear a lot about very soon), I had a great shoot with some dear friends and their first child, little Luke Taylor. He was named after his great-great grandpa…I love little babies. Did I mention that?
Luke was great to work with, already a natural at only 11 days old and he was teeny-tiny! Healthy, happy and wise is the little guy.

Smiles!!

Little Tiny Toes!

All tuckered out after playing with his elephant.

Looks like he has a huge tattoo on his chest…I am going to be redoing my watermark very soon.

This isn’t a great photo, but I just loved it.

Carpé Diem! (latin. “seize the day”) — For a long time now, this has been on my mind…to create a blog.
After being prodded and gently nudged by some wonderful people I met last week at the AntiWorkshop: Seattle, I decided to make it happen for real…to seize this day and harness my design prowess into focusing my attention on the creation of a blog.
As with anything I do, I try to have purpose and reason involved. As such, below are listed some goals I want to accomplish with this blog. These will probably be adapted and evolve as I go along, but it’s a start. Goals are important and setting them from the get-go, as in any business venture, is vital to success and focused energy. That’s what matters to me.
Blog of Purpose
- Share sneak-previews with photography clients
- Develop friendships
- Profile/interview people I respect
- Share training, tips & tricks for design and photography
- Have fun (that’s with anything I do)
- Share some personal information
- Share exciting news & announcements
- Review products/services I dig
- Showcase my work, photos & some design
- Generate flow-through traffic to: Five Loaves Creative, Steller Photography, flickr, facebook, etc.
This blog is now alive. Help me give it some life! Please comment and shoot me suggestions. I like to share the love and reciprocate the online-affection. Subscribe to the feed, because this first week is going to be a whirlwind of catching up and getting rapid content onto these pages!
Many smiles to you all and blessings to those who stop by.
