What a fantastic day! This excitable crew seemed like one big happy family and I felt like I was just another sibling or cousin added to this mix. The day was filled with so many beautiful moments … tears and kissing and laughing and jokes and friendship and love and joy.

Yes, it did end up raining during the only time block we had for group photos, but nonetheless, it was an awesome day! Joel and Jessica were undeterred and full of smiles and kisses…and more smiles!

Jess and Joel, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. I truly am stoked to call you my friends and I can’t wait to hang out again in the future. Many blessings on your first year, you guys!

My burning hot couple from a few weeks ago got married! The celebration took place in a very small town in a small country church just a little while ago. The occasion was celebratory and joyous with big family, big laughs, and big hearts all around!

The weather was slightly overcast and miserably hot — stifling even. Everyone trooped around outside for photos and a few unique opportunities arose…trains, planes and automobiles…without the planes part. The church sat a few hundred feet from the busy train tracks of Strasburg. We crossed them for the boys’ photos. When we did, we saw this rocking car rumble by…we flagged him down and borrowed the restored black ’69 Camaro for our shots! Too fun! Later, we flagged an oncoming train down. Okay, we didn’t flag it down, but it did stop not too far from us while we were shooting the couple’s photos and then started up again and we got to watch it leave. Awesome!

July 21, 2007 will be a memorable day, not only for me, but for Katie and Garrett as they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. I, once again, tagged along with Heather Cole and her second shooter Aaron Harrison for a fun-filled day of creativity and boundless energy.

I will keep the dialogue brief, only to say that I think the fun photos speak for themselves. We shot at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, the historic Country Club Plaza, Westport and at the reception which was at the awesome and historic Uptown Theater.

So, after these past couple of weddings, I have decided that Steller Photography is going to beginning an aggressive campaign for 2008 weddings. We’ve got the talent, experience, creativity and many, many open weekends to make it happen. Tell your friends!
