The Anti-Workshop [two]

During my recent foray into Seattle for the Anti-Workshop, I was overwhelmed by the awesome culture of the city. I really enjoyed my time exploring with my fellow photogs. Here are some shots from my perspective.

Fisherman
An old Fisherman.

Pike
World famous Pike Public Fish Market.

Characters
I spoke with the gent on the left for a while. He was a nice old fella who had a plethora of impressions of old-time actors…this was his Jimmy Cagney face. :-) The couple on the right had just departed a swanky gala event on pier 66 and were quite drunk and singing in French. They were elegant nonetheless and I loved their clothes and spunky attitudes.

The Market & Pub
The market was way cool. The Pub was where we had our daily ‘workshop.’

Grooving & neat old building
I really thought that guy had to have a photo taken of him. He was jammin and was pretty good. The building shot was snapped as I saw this old truck barreling down the road. I figured if I got it in the frame it would add some vintage appeal…it did. :-)

I hope you all liked my sharing time. I will post more Anti-Workshop pics soon…of lot of my new friends! Look out for your beautiful mugs to get face-time on my blog, yo!

Rural Corner

This is a photo is of a fence & field near then end of the paved road and turning onto the gravel road that leads to my parents’ new farm. It is the corner of a huge field that has horses and cattle within it’s gates. For some reason, ever since I first saw these posts, I have wanted to take a photo of it. A couple weeks back the sky was just perfect for the shot in my mind and I happened to have my camera along with me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I oddly do.

It’s a great shot! The clouds add so much. Now about about the barn?

My Girls

Since this blog thing is new, I wanted to introduce two little huge parts of my life, as I am sure they will get a lot of attention later and often on here.

Ashlyn Grace, the eldest at 4 years old, is a perfectionist and is graceful. She likes to try on shoes and clothes and her long straight hair is always clean and shiny. She loves ballet and the stage. She love princesses and likes to be goofy like her daddy. Ashlyn talks with ceaseless abundance and is tender-hearted.

Ashlyn Princess

Jillian Joy is 2 and full of energy. Her smile is full of quirky little dimples and her laugh is hearty and full. Jillian clumsily walks into doors and walls, plays in the dirt and her curly hair is always squirrelly. She likes to build with her blocks, play with her Dora the Explorerâ„¢ toys, and watch Max & Ruby.

Here is a great photo of them from one of my favorite sets when we were apple pickin’ last September…
