Michael+Amanda Engagement

As one who is genetically thin…um, scrawny…and still quite out of shape, I tend to really admire people who are very fit and muscular. Their energy is radiant. That said, I want to introduce you to Michael and Amanda. :-)

Yes, they are actual people. No photoshopping was necessary to enhance their frames. Their beautiful physiques are just naturally reminiscent of the mythical Greek gods and godesses of old. I hope you enjoy the session we shot down at the Plaza.

Let them know your favorite shots! I am sure Michael and Amanda would get a kick out of it. ;-)

AWESOME! Last two head shots. Very cool. Captures the intensity of their spirit. Black and white - about to kiss shot is very good as well. They are all great. Dustin you rock!!!!!

  2. Sandy Brill

Great shots!! Hard to miss, though, when you have such obviously gorgeous people to work photograph! Congrats Michael & Amanda!!!

  3. Kerri Skirchak

The pictures really capture the intensity and the playfulness of you as a couple. I really love the black & white picture of the two of you about to kiss, and the picture of the two of you on top of the ledge.

John+Jessika Engagement

John and Jessika are getting married on Saturday, so technically, I suppose, this was not really an engagement session. They already had a close friend of theirs (Zach Henderson) shoot their engagement session a while back. He is going to be in the wedding, and I am shooting Zach’s wedding later on. Yeah!

Anyway, John and Jessika met me for a quick “get-to-know-how-I-shoot” session at Faulkners Pumpkin Farm. We had a great time and it was good getting to hang out with this cool couple. We talked “Apple” gear and  about their big day and what their plans are for the future. It was a good time had by all.

I love how some of these look so retro. Everything old is new again, huh? I especially love the second group from the top, very nice!

Charlie+Caryn Engagement

Charlie and Caryn. They are so right for each other…Gentle touches and sweet smiles. Fun personalities and intelligent conversation. They pretty much are awesome all around. KU grad students…gotta love ‘em!

For their session, we met up at the chapel on the beautiful Lawrence campus for KU for our evening stroll around some of the cool, old educational buildings. We enjoyed the wonderfully warm weather and caught the golden rays of fading light. I hope you guys love the pictures as much as I am digging this couple! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the lil’ chapel in December! Yeah!

I really like the 8th one down… it’s like two college students sneaking a kiss between classes. All are really nice though too!

AWESOME pictures! I love all the warm tones. Love that location, too! I actually just shot there a couple weeks ago and it was my first time to have a session on campus…I really like that area. Perfect for some college sweethearts.
